Tuesday March 13th – I still have 4 spaces left!
and on Monday I have 2 spaces left at 4:45 and 6:15. :)
Miss M is SO so cute, such a little peanut that would curl up in your arms. Loved meeting her and her sweet family at the studio a couple weeks ago. :)
Has the cutest little dimples on both cheeks!
Loved the heirloom blankets that grandma brought like the one shown above (and hand made headbands from her aunt) – it’s awesome to be able to incorporate something personal into a newborn sessions!
First session of 2012! What a cutie. I had fun getting back into work after taking some time off to reset myself and my business and prepare for 2012. It seems to be taking right off again!
And while the session above was just for Mr J, Big brother stopped in for a visit last November with his family for their annual family session. I think he’s pretty adorable too!
Come out and help us raise some money for Loving Hugs, Inc with special edition mini sessions in the studio loft, located in Bellevue. Up to two kids, 20 minutes for each session. Additional children are 10.00 each. My kids love their stuffed animals – love what they are doing to help the children around the world. (bio posted below). Money from the session fee will be donated to the organization. Session fee includes a 5×7 print and 10% off your order too! Special packages will be available.
Who is Loving Hugs?
We collect your donations of stuffed animals (new or very ‘gently used’)- we call them “hugs”, to send to children in war zones, orphanages, refugee and IDP (internally displaced persons) camps, and medical/hospital facilities around the world. We also send your donations of stuffed animals for emergencies from natural disasters around the world, such as the 2009 flood in Manila, Philippines, and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, to bring some comfort and hope to those children.
Contact me to arrange your time! Hope to see you!
Wow, I can’t believe all the beautiful families and children I see here. 2011 has been a great year for Holli Dunn Photography! Celebrated a year in the Bellevue studio, expanded it by double towards the end of 2011 and met many new wonderful people which makes my job very rewarding! I also took some time to work on personal goals which I’m very proud of too. Here’s to another great year! See you all soon!
Ahhh, it’s that crazy busy time that I can barely breath some days – for which I’m very thankful for I must say! I want to thank my super sweet and patient client Amanda, whom I’m posting this sneak peek for. She’s been waiting for awhile now… knowing that I have been working on getting out cards for everyone who needs them. Almost all of which will be ready for pick up tomorrow or Sunday, whoooo!
It’s also nice to update my very neglected blog and facebook page with some fresh images. More to come soon…. I’m nearly done with editing holiday sessions and orders and am looking forward to spending some time with my family and enjoy the holidays. :) Hopefully more time to post a few of the recent sessions I’ve been busy with. Every one of my clients has been great this year!
This is going to be a lot of fun, I’m really exited to meet some local artists and see their creations, and meet some fabulous women! we have over 17 vendors, so there will be a lot to choose from and I’m sure you will all find something great to help with your holiday shopping!
So stop on by and support local businesses!!
And only at the show, I’ll be selling DISCOUNTED mini session gift certificates for Jan-July mini sessions! Come and meet me, see some samples of my work and book your child’s session! :) I will be selling my chocolate creations as well. Scroll down for a list of our awesome vendors!

Had a few High School Senior sessions recently, we had great weather for these (yay!) and I really enjoyed working with both of these kids!
First a senior boy session at the studio. We did the senior “super” mini, so we took a few just outside my studio and headed inside for a few more. I love how my building has that industrial look to it, which lends itself well to senior portraits, especially boys. But there is some greenery around too… we just didn’t use it much.
Love the simple and modern look in this!
I LOVE this garden for sessions. It has quickly become one of my favorite places to hold sessions outdoors. And these little ones are sooo adorable they fit right in!
So so SOOOO adorable!
And later we met in the studio for more sibling and family portraits… poor mom had a bad fall and broke 3 ribs so if you can imagine having to get yourself and your 3 children ready for a session without being able to move much. We split the session into two, to make sure we capture her little girl for her birthday photos and then meet in the studio once she felt better for the family portraits. :) And hopefully Jennifer is fully recovered now. I thought this one was a great outtake!
Fall is here, and the recent weather is lending to me getting used to the idea. :)
And so for what it’s worth, it’s time for a few things to mention. First, something I’m not ready to even TALK ABOUT being that it’s still September, LOL (except I did post one thing below, much shame, but I have to get us ready for this and I’d much rather see a blog post than Halloween candy in the supermarket during September) But one must plan ahead! It’s National Costume Swap Day! I have registered at www.NationalCostumeSwapDay.com – my swap to be held at the studio from 10:30 – 1:30pm on October 8th. It’s coming right up actually, so please come and join us and swap out last years costume for a “new” one this year. Everyone who participates in my swap AND the one at Orange Blossom Society in Redmond WA, will get a free portrait in his or her new costume! Yay! Last year was super fun, and I looooved taking the kids portraits in their costumes. They really enjoyed it. I’ll be sending out e-cards and a portrait of each child will be available free of charge. I’ll have some activities planned too!
Take a moment to RSVP by emailing Holli at firstname.lastname@example.org – or on facebook, I have an invite going – https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=205283836202868 Costume drop off will be the week prior (Oct 1st-7th) to the event at Holli Dunn’s studio in Bellevue.
