Photography sessions are
tailored to meet your needs. Contact me if you
would like an in-person complimentary consultation
before you book your session with me. We can
discuss the best fit for you and your family for
booking time and location.
I conduct most family sessions on-location
usually at a local park in Bellevue, Kirkland, or
Seattle. In addition, you may choose to have
the session at your
home, studio, or other location
of your choice. Small families, children, and
newborn sessions are also welcome to use the studio
loft for studio sessions. The
studio is centrally located in Belleuve.
Sessions typically last from 1-3
hours, and includes
clothing changes and breaks as needed.
Taking
time to feed baby, give a child a snack, or just to let them relax or warm up is
expected. While I will accommodate your needs, please be on
time for your appointment and have your children
ready to photograph when you arrive as best you can.
Clothing choice is a difficult one! Classic,
timeless outfits will result in a portrait that will
last through time. Trendy and colorful
clothing is also a fun choice. Please refrain from wearing
checks, stripes, bold patterns, logos, or "busy" looking
outfits that will distract from the person being
photographed in the final picture.
A good rule of thumb is to dress everyone as if you
are all wearing one single outfit.
If families or
siblings will be photographed together try to match
clothing so that they are all wearing a similar
color or tone but not so much that you look as if
you are wearing a uniform. Match outfits
together as if it were all one outfit.
Tiny babies usually look best in their birthday
suit, I also have wraps and diaper covers available
as well. Also, I love to photograph little baby
and kid feet! Bare feet are encouraged! Shoes will show up in photographs
if worn, so please keep that in mind when selecting
shoes for your children on session day.
Once the session is
completed, your proofs will be available in 3 weeks
and we will meet so that you can view your prints
and place your order. This appointment will
take place at the studio in Bellevue. Holli
offers a range of products including custom framing
and gallery wrapped canvas wall galleries,
handcrafted photo books and albums, and custom
greeting cards.
